Day 9 (September 21, 2017) Alexander the Great

Sites: Saida and Tyre – UNESCO World Heritage Site

We visited the Mosque in Saida and there had lecture on Christian-Muslim Relation by Imam Judge Mohammed Abouzaid. After the lecture, we visited the ‘Outreach Leadership Academy – a 17th Century restored Moroccan villa. Then we made a tour to the Biblical town of Tyre. There we had lecture with Prof. Joseph Rahme on why Alexander the great conquered Tyre.
